Study Section of USPEE “C. Stere “provides free and unhindered access of public and mass media to information of public interest. Its activity is conducted in the spirit of transparency and the right to information of the citizen.

USPEE “C. Stere “promotes a policy of openness to society, in general, and to the media. For this reason, the University ensures, under the conditions and limits provided by law, through the USPEE Studies Department, the correct and complete information of the citizens regarding the information due by law or requested in agreement with it.

How can I get public interest information?

Information published from the office

The University communicates certain information from the office, in accordance with Law 982 of 11.05.2000 and the Regulation on the personal data trail in their processing within the information systems managed by USPEE “Constantin Stere”.

These can be accessed directly from the university’s website and / or at the USPEE headquarters, the 601C office, Stefan cel Mare and Sfânt 200, Department of Studies.

Documents can be downloaded, printed, completed and filed with the secretariat.

 Information provided on request

Requests for information shall be received:

by USPEE employees, if the request for information is made verbally;

at the USPEE Study Section, if the request for information is in writing.

In the case of the verbal formulation of the request, the information is provided on the spot, if possible, or with the guidance of the applicant to make a written request, in the context of the complexity of the disclosure information.

For written requests in paper or electronic form (e-mail), the applicant will receive a written confirmation stating the date and registration number of the application. The form for requesting public interest information can be downloaded here.

How long will you get the answer?

Media representatives who have requested verbal information will receive the answer within 24 hours if the applicant has not been instructed to write a written request. If the requested information is already communicated from the office  in one of the forms specified in art. 16 of Law 982 of 11.05.2000, it is ensured immediately, but no later than 5 days, the information of the applicant about this, as well as the source where the requested information can be found. If the requested information is of public interest, you will receive a reply, on the medium you specified (e-mail, fax, or writing) within 10 days. If, through the complexity of the documentation, the information engages a longer period for writing, the applicant will be informed of this, and the information may be communicated at the latest 30 days after the request, informing the complainant.

If the requested information is identified as being exempted from free access to information, it shall be ensured within 5 days of the registration of the application with the Applicant’s Department of Studies.

How can the office’s decision be contested?

According to the provisions of art. 21, 22 and art. 23 of Law no. 982/2000 regarding the free access to information, the person injured in his / her rights may address with administrative complaint to the management of USPEE “C. Stere “, within 30 days of becoming aware of the explicit or tacit refusal of the employees assigned to the institution to apply the statutory provisions. If the applicant, after having received the reply to the administrative complaint, still feels harmed by his or her rights provided by law, he may lodge a complaint with the administrative court of the tribunal in whose territorial jurisdiction the seat of the public institution is domiciled or in the territorial jurisdiction. The complaint shall be made within 30 days from the date of expiry of the term stipulated in art. 22 of Law no. 982/2000.
